Turtle Park

I took the kids to Turtle Park for the first time yesterday, and, as expected, they loved it. Who wouldn't love to clamber around larger-than-life stone turtles?

Hooray! We scaled a turtle mountain!

Side note: do you see Michael's outfit? The shorts are one of his favorite pairs of "Daddy Orts"; he insists on wearing "Daddy Orts" pretty much every day. It was such a hot summer that Daddy spent a lot of time at home in basketball/running/workout shorts, so Michael Jr is convinced this is his signature look. Not bow ties, not suits, not Nantucket red trousers or pink polos; basketball shorts. I find this hilarious. Secondary side note: Michael refers to his shirt, which has Elvis on it, as his "Elmo shirt."

Back to the turtles. They had fun sitting on this turtle's head:

There were also some smaller turtles for Daisy and Michael to ride at will.

But Catherine's favorite was hanging out in this turtle's mouth. She called it a hammock.
