Well, occasionally she'll accept "dancy pants," but only if it fits the current situation.
She has also decided that Mary's nickname is "Mary Neeper Bug." I have no idea where she heard or misunderstood the word "neeper." I don't know what it means, or what it says about Mary. But according to Catherine, she is "Mary Neeper Bug." The end.
So this is what Mary Neeper Bug is up to lately. She loves eating cereal. She uses a spoon to eat her cereal, which is kind of a surprise because Catherine always chooses to eat her cereal with no spoon. This works out because she also always chooses to eat it with no milk, regardless of the type of cereal.
Mary also really likes running and making noise. When she can run and make noise at the same time, she is happy. This is one reason the jingle blocks make her happy (many thanks to my grandma for those).
And if Catherine is running with her, then there is twice the running and twice the noise, and they are twice as happy.
And if they are both pushing something, like the shopping cart and the stroller, then there is three times as much noise and the house could just explode for happiness. Or for something else. But you've seen pictures of that before.
Mary also discovered headstands are funny. If you are around her for five minutes, it is very likely you will see this view:
Or this one (her stance never looks all that stable, but she usually only falls down when she tries to lift up one leg in the air like Catherine):
Or this one:
We would also like to thank GiGi for the recent cards in the mail. This is what we get to watch when Catherine gets her very own letter in the mail with her name on it:
And if there was ever any doubt that both of my children are complete hams, here is a video of Mary standing on her "stage" and singing into her "microphone," when Catherine takes the opportunity to hijack her video with more Yeah Jumps:
Don't worry - Mary doesn't take that kind of stuff lying down. When Catherine asked for a turn on the stage Mary just looked at her and sang louder.

I see a cheerleader in the making...gimme a Y...gimme an A...gimme a Y! Yay!!!
The Yay jumps are amazing.
Wow, those yeah jumps are great. Glad I could contribute to all that happiness. Mary even said Yeah a couple of times at the end of her singing video. I laughed so hard at them.
