The Toaster Oven!
No, I'm not getting the Worst Mom Award of June 2011 for letting my kids play with a hot toaster oven. I have, however, let them play for hours on end with an unplugged toaster oven, a couple mini muffin pans, a small cake pan, and a couple mixing bowls and wisks.
They've made strawberry muffins, blueberry muffins, chocolate muffins, brownie muffins, french toast, cakes, and hundreds of other different batters.
