I guess they've noticed that Gussie spends about eight hours a day in the carrier right now. They're basically babywearing experts already.
Also, Mary is wearing a sleeveless dress, and Catherine is wearing earmuffs. Just wanted to make sure you noticed that.
Also, they're crazy. All three of them. Completely nuts.
I trust you enjoyed Catherine's post about the zoo as much as I did, but it's still my blog and I still get to share a few of my own pictures as well. When we woke up Friday morning we decided it was a perfect morning to take a zoo field trip in lieu of our regular school day, so we zipped through breakfast and got there in time to ride the carousel three times and still pop into the children's zoo while it was free, with a quick stop for a penguin picture on our way.
This is Catherine's "grumpy goat" standing on the wall. Mary and Michael Jr were both much more timid about petting the goats than I expected them to be.
I have no idea why Mary is hugging this snake.
We almost always watch the elephants for a while, and this day they were working on some branches for breakfast, so we were there even longer than normal.
And as a surprise, the zoo was already starting to set up for Boo at the Zoo, so there were hay bales and pumpkins and spooky photo opportunities everywhere.
Michael Jr makes a good Hulk.
