The Attack of Uncle Chris

Last time we all visited Grandma, Catherine made a passive-aggresive attack on Uncle Chris by screaming for two straight hours between about 4:00 and 6:00 in the morning. It was very effective in destroying the first half of his day, but really only managed to annoy him in the end. It did not seem to further Catherine's plan of Total Family Domination.

This trip she took a slightly more sophisticated approach: she sang him into submission.

Her song went like this (Those are all pronounced "dough" by the way.): "Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do doooooooooooo do do do do do do dooooooooo do do do do do do do do do do do DO DO do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do doooooooooooooooooooo!"

That is the abridged version above. It was at least ten minutes long.

At first, Uncle Chris was simply amused by her choice in lyrics. He didn't really know where this was going, and you can't blame him for being unsuspecting. No normal person ever guesses what's coming next with Catherine.

He got a little suspicious after the first 3 or 4 minutes, especially when she started closing her distance.

At this point I think Uncle Chris was beginning to realize he couldn't match her resolve - this could go on for hours... days... weeks.

And finally, Catherine's plan reaches its end: complete domination. Whether Uncle Chris realizes it or not, he is forever putty in her hands.

Grandma and Grandpa have been under her spell since day 1, so I'm guessing Uncle Tommy is next on her list...
