Splashing Around

We are lucky to have very generous friends who live right across the street, and they are lucky to have parents with a pool in their yard just a few minutes away. Our lucky generous neighbors invite us along to their parents' pool rather often, and Catherine and Mary are gifted with a dad who puts aside his issues with swimming pools long enough to let them enjoy some time splashing around (and cooling off!).

They love floaties.



Robert got one too!


But they also love spinning and floating around free, as long as Daddy is taking care of them.



Catherine needed a break, or she thinks it's cool to just sit on the edge of the pool and show off. It's like she's 14 already.


I'm sorry this is kind of far away, but if you look closely it is Robert trying to pull Mary closer to him in her floaty and Mary getting angry about it. It cracks me up - she doesn't like to be pushed (or pulled) around by anyone.


But Robert wasn't phased by it - he still had a good time splashing by himself.




Don't worry Robert - Michael Jr will very likely lead the charge in terrorizing his sisters next year!
