Pretty much everyone has asked about her name and what they are supposed to call her. Her full name, Teresia Benedicta, is after the name taken by Edith Stein when she entered a Carmelite convent (it was actually Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, but we preferred an old Latin spelling of Teresia). So her name is Teresia, we introduce her as Teresia, I will probably write about her as Teresia, and you are welcome to call her Teresia.
Edith Stein's nickname was Edie, and we have found it to be a fitting nickname for Teresia. The kids call her Edie, I usually call her Edie when I'm talking to her, and you are welcome to call her Edie.
Or you can just call her the most adorable baby you've seen this year.
